Our
Mission is:
To
prayerfully serve others.
We strive to grow in our holiness and
Catholic faith by following our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ as exemplified by our saints,
Francis and Clare.
Parishioners are asked to make
the following commitments to strengthen our vision
for the parish and to strive to always be on
holy ground:
1. I will increase my knowledge of the
Catholic beliefs and values through regular
faith formation programs.
2. I will welcome God through daily
prayer, weekly Eucharist, and loving
interactions with others, and
3. I will live my faith by being a good
steward of all that God has given me and
participating in at least one (1) church
ministry activity each year
We have grown so
much and have so many new faces in our family -
please join us in documenting our parish family
and achievements with a pictorial directory.
We have scheduled picture taking
to be the last week in May and the first two
weeks in June. Look at your calendar and
see when would be a convenient time for you.
You can now sign up in the Narthex.
As an added
bonus, each participating family will receive
one FREE 8 x 10 photo and directory.
Lastly, anyone
interested in working on the layout and
production of the directory, please contact
Jackie Buchanan in the parish office at 859-4673
x10.

RCIA
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
New 14 week
Summer Session is beginning Sunday, May 4th at
10:00am!
The RCIA is the
process by which people become members of the
Roam Catholic Church. It is also open to
those wishing to know more about the Catholic
Church without obligation to join the Church,
and for Catholics seeking a deeper understanding
of their faith.
This is an
excellent opportunity for unconfirmed adult
Catholics to receive this sacrament. For
those coming into the church, this session will
culminate in the celebration of the initiation
sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and First
Eucharist on August 23rd at the 5:30pm Saturday
evening Mass.
For more
information please call Mary Chasteen at
888-0959.

In the Parish
Hall
This Easter season we encourage you to begin a
new family faith sharing tradition. Each
week you can find a sheet of activities related
to the Sunday Gospel reading in the RE racks on
the wall in the Information Lobby.
A simple retelling of the Gospel story, puzzles,
games, and suggestions for family discussion are
included in a format designed to help children
apply Gospel principles to every day life.
Blessings to you and your family as you prepare
for the holiest time in our Church year.
Who is
invited: All adults!
There are tables
in the back with coloring books for the little
ones, so bring the whole family!
Pick up a cup of

A Bible
Study on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to
8:00pm in the sanctuary.
Please schedule your time to join us
starting April 30th for the Summer Study on
Women Significant in Our Faith.
This topic will explore the heroines of our
faith from Eve to the Saints of the Church.
As usual, Fr. Vince will make the ties clear
and easy to follow. This Summer, there will be a Discussion
Group that will cover the topic "New Age"
and Other Lies that Lead Us Astray.
During these sessions we will discuss how we
are barraged daily with lies and half-truths
that can separate us from God. We will
learn how just learning about them is the
best defense. Watch the bulletin for
details. Child
care continues to be available for those who
need it. Call Vicki
Button 888-0144 or Bob Siefker 535-8992 with
questions.
